A new AI model called AutMedAI can identify autism in young children with nearly 80% accuracy using routine medical and behavioural data. Developed by Swedish researchers, it analyses 28 factors and is most effective for children under two. The model is intended as an initial screening tool to enable earlier intervention, with further clinical testing planned.
